I didn’t know I needed a pry tool until I added one to my EDC. Now I use it constantly. I have two cheap ones but there are several higher quality ones that now that I know I use them on a regular basis I am looking into. The two I have are the Keyport MOCA 10-In-1 Key Tool and the Nite Ize DoohicKey Key Chain Multi Tool. Neither are full-blown pry tools but I paid just twelve bucks for the Keyport and I think less than five on the Nite Ize and I use them to pry things so yeah.
