Of all the productivity hacks I’ve tried over the years, none has had as much of a positive impact relative to the time I put in than meditation. Just 8 minutes per day to be precise. Meditation is a practice that has been around for centuries.
I can definitely relate to this post from the guys over at Addicted 2 Success. After suffering through so many years of anxiety and ADHD I found life-changing relief from meditation. I was so anti meditation for so long. I called it “cosmic ooze” and wanted no part of it. It just didn’t seem very manly. I also viewed those that meditated as hippies. I was so foolish. Once I dropped the nonsense I gave it a go and never looked back. It quite literally changed my life overnight. I was able to calm my nerves, focus, find inner peace and finally get quality work done without distraction. I am so grateful to have found my meditation practice…..I never miss a day now!
